*Abstract
A metallocene chloride is mixed with a chiral ligand compound and an organic alkaline compound in a solvent. A method for preparing chiral organometallic metallocene complexes comprises the following steps: (1) mixing a metallocene chloride with a chiral ligand compound such as a chiral metallocene diol and an organic alkaline compound in a solvent and in a given metallocene/chiral ligand molar ratio and given alkali/chiral ligand molar ratio under an inert atmosphere; and (2) separating the unconverted metallocene and organometallic complex salts.
