Panoramic Stereo Catadioptric Imaging
- Summary
-
The panoramic stereo imaging system is capable of providing 3D visual information in all directions with depth information. The system, installed with a camera coaxially combined with a fisheye lens and mirror, provides stereo vision over a 360-degree horizontal field of view and the entire vertical view is enlarged. The image formation process of the system can accommodate non-single viewpoint imaging for 3D reconstruction in Enclidean space. A computational model and its calibration method are disclosed.
