- The direct practical utilization of this protein isolator is connected with its antimicrobial activity. The isolator can be used as a short term natural protective agent for surface layers of raw materials of plant and animal origins, food processing ingredients or foodstuffs slowing down their deterioration caused by their surface contamination by microorganisms, especially by microscopic fungus. The preparation can be also profitably used as a natural protective agent on surface layers of wrapping materials used for food processing ingredients and products. The preparation can be also profitably used as a starting material for preparation of remedies and cosmetics agents for the treatment of sores and light forms of dermatitis.
