- In the present invention, there is disclosed a device for enhancing quality of standing water of outdoor water storage reservoirs, particularly hypertrophic and eutrophic ponds with low transparency of water. The invention is characterized in that an enclosed floating body of translucent biologically degradable material is arranged in the water reservoir in such a manner that the body (1) shorter section projects above the level (2) while the longer section thereof is submerged below the level (2), wherein the maximum dimension (x) of the body (1) in vertical direction is at least the double of the maximum dimension (y) of the body (1) in horizontal direction.
