Feed for common carp and method of rearing common carp with increased content of omega 3 fatty acids
In the present invention, there is disclosed a feed for common carp consisting of a mixture containing rape molding in an amount of 12 too 20 percent by weight, extruded flax seed in an amount of 10 to 20 percent by weight, cereals seed in an amount of 56 to 72 percent by weight, soy bean meal in an amount of 5 to 10 percent by weight, limestone in an amount of 1 to 2 percent by weight, carp premix in an amount up to 1 percent by weight and a stabilizing agent in an amount up to 0,5 percent by weight. Further, it is possible to add into the mixture flax seed and/or rape seed oil and/or blueweed oil from Echium plantagineum seeds. In ponds, carp is fed with the above-described feed and, preferably, it is reared in ponds at a stock the initial value of which expressed in kg/ha is at the most 2.3 multiple of the stock value corresponding to a natural productivity of the pond expressed also in kg/ha, with preferably the double thereof where the half of the total carp increment consists of a natural food of plankton and bentos. In order to clean meat and to improve composition of fats, carp is stored in storage ponds after fishing. When preparing food from the carp, spare belly fat, which is of inferior quality, is to be removed.
