- Our inventorΓÇÖs have generated a novel MKT-077 formulation based nanoparticles to overcome the renal toxicity and BBB transport issues associated with the drug. These nanoparticles have shown BBB permeability and tau reduction in lab basedexperimental models. This MKT-077 loaded polymer nanoparticle offers a novel treatment modality for AlzheimerΓÇÖs Disease, as well as other neurodegenerative diseases, and may even be effective in the treatment of certain cancers.
