Enteral Electrical Constructs
- Detailed Technology Description
- Title: Enteral Electrical Constructs Invention: This invention is a diagnostic and therapeutic system that is composed of ingestible, edible, and nutritive electric/electronic constructs in order to measure various aspects of the entire digestive system. Background: Electronic systems are vital in medical diagnostics and therapeutics, but current electronic systems are based largely on silicon and utilize metallic conductors and synthetic polymer nonporous materials. This invention extends the field of electronics/electrical constructs by fabricating components, devices and systems from completely natural materials. These materials are components for an edible breadboard, where an integrated closed loop system monitors biochemical, metabolic, microbial, and physical endpoints and parameters.
