- *Abstract
-
A new hardware-software architecture for efficiently managing the simultaneous chargingof a large number of electric vehicles to minimize operating costs. Using mixed renewable energy sources and electricity from a power grid, the system enables controllability to avoid unmanaged charging. The Central Processing Unit delivers anoptical mix of power, maximizes the profit based on various supply-demandrequirements, and manages pricing, billing, and admission control. The network switch activates specificcharging ports of the network, allowing for flexibility depending on thecharging requirements of each user.
