Method for Performing Magnetic Resonance Angiography Over a Large Field of View

*Abstract: This invention describes the use of table translation and acquisition of multiple small fields of view (FOVs) to overcome the difficulty of large FOV MR imaging. The region of interest is divided into several overlapping FOVs, and the position of the movable table supporting the patient is adjusted between data collection. Such movement of the patient within the bore of the magnet allows acquisition of data for the entire region with one injection of contrast agent.
