- *Abstract
-
Hur-flox mouse for studying the function of RNA binding protein HuR (also known as ELAV1) in specific tissues. This protein regulates the expression of cytokines, chemokines, inflammatory genes, cell growth and apoptotic regulatory genes in many cells and regulates miRNA function. The mouse may be used as an animal model of inflammation, cancer and apoptosis.
