Synaptotagmin-4 Knockout Mice
UCLA researchers have developed knockout mice in which the Synaptotagmin 4 (Syt4) gene is deleted. Synaptotagmin 4 is involved in a number of neurobiological events, including vesicle fusion and neurotransmitter release at neuronal synapses.
