Method for Automatically Generating Airfoil Performance Tables
Steady-state and time-accurate calculations to be run to completion Requires little or no user intervention
Computational fluid dynamics Aerospace and aircraft Design and analysis of aircraft wings, propellers, wind turbine rotors, etc.
This system is based on computational fluid dynamics methodology. It uses software that automatically controls the two-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RaNS) flow solver. In addition, this software is designed so that support for other flow solvers may be added. The automation software thereafter controls the generation of parameterized airfoil performance data.

Title: Method and apparatus for automatically generating airfoil performance tables
Usefulness: Method and apparatus for automatically generating airfoil performance tables
Summary: Used for generating a performance table for an object e.g. airfoil.
Novelty: Object e.g. airfoil, performance table generating method, involves analyzing output to find if output is converging, if output does not indicate negative density, and writing output to table for object, if output is converged
