Room Temperature Preparation of Titania (Titanium Dioxide) Coated Magnetic Nanospheres and other Nanostructures
- Detailed Technology Description
- Titanium dioxide (titania) is one of the world's most demanded chemicals because of its high versatility of use. Researchers at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette have developed a method for preparing composite, nonmixed nanospheres comprised of a nickel ferrite core and having a titanium dioxide (titania) shell with photocatalytic and germicidal activity. This technology uses a proprietary reverse micelle chemistry methodology that does not require expensive machinery or elevated temperatures.Find more info on our website:http://vpresearch.louisiana.edu/ip/room-temperature-generation-dendritic-and-other-nanostructures/1236
