Fluorescent Sensors of Tyrosine Phosphorylation
- Detailed Technology Description
- The invention is a novel means for the fluorescent detectionof tyrosine activity. A phosphotyrosine is used to mimic a glutamic acidresidue, Unlike previous methods, this approach combines a genetic encodabilitywith the exhibition of large fluorescence changes upon phosphorylation. Moreover, this approach is applicable to different kinases and phosphotasesthrough modification of the recognition sequence.
