- This lysine oligomer derivative is made by linking theε-amino group and the carboxyl group of lysine by peptide linkage, and is characterizedin that a group capable of generating or absorbing an electromagnetic wave isbonded to the C-terminal carboxyl group, theN-terminal amino group, and/or the α-aminogroup. This lysine oligomerderivative has the characteristic ofspecifically accumulating in the cartilage matrix and can generate or absorb anelectromagnetic wave, and is thus useful asa cartilage tissue marker.
