*Abstract: The presentinvention relates to a novel anti-HCV agent comprising as an active ingredienta peroxide derivative represented by general formula (Ⅰ). In general formula (Ⅰ), C is an optionally substitutable alicyclic hydrocarbon ring group, n is an integers between 1 and 6, and R is a hydrogenatom or a hydroxyalkyl group. The peroxide derivative realizes strong anti-HCV activity by greatly inhibiting RNAreplication of HCV.
