- *Abstract
-
In prior-art, gel electrophoresis is one of the most commonly used techniques forseparation of charged species. A gel electrophoretic system utilizes gels of varying poresizes that are tunable. Other technologies/devices such as paper-based and yarn-basedmicro-fluidics are also known. Such devices are assembled in multiple steps usingcustom-built equipments. Moreover, these devices are associated with other commonlimitations such as low-flash points, mechanical un-stability, and lack of scalability. Thisinvention relates to a development and use of a novel fabric-based electrophoreticdevice that is wearable and highly cost effective as compared to prior-art techniques
