- *Abstract
-
Use of titania (TiO2) with noble metal nanoparticles as a catalyst for a wide range of photoelectrochemical and oxidative reactions is well known in the prior art. However, such compositions show a significantly decreased activity/stability with time, mainly due to oxidation of associated noble nanoparticles. This novel approach enables the development and use of a TiO2 based catalyst with enhanced stability against such oxidations.
