Sugar-Derived Dimethacrylates
- Detailed Technology Description
- None
- *Abstract
-
A process to synthesize two dimethacrylate monomers from glucose and mannose. The dimethacrylates are stable in neutral and acidic conditions and degrade in basic conditions. Because they are sugar-derived, they are more environmentally friendly and sustainable than petroleum-derived dimethacrylates.
