The inventor has developed an application to assist institutions of higher learning in their pursuit of achieving and maintaining academic accreditation. This application, Assess My Program, AMP, is particularly effective because it was designed by a faculty member for use by faculty. AMP incorporates standard assessment processes utilized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accrediting bodies. AMP allows schools to monitor educational progress over multiple assessment cycles, which is essential to maintaining academic accreditation. The applicationΓÇÖs set of tools empowers educators to: 1. Develop the goals and objectives of their programs,2. Design learning outcomes and map them to courses,3. Assess the outcomes using faculty driven standard assessment methods,4. Implement, store and analyze the resulting data, 5. Identify and track future improvements,6. Generate multiple reports to track the assessment process, standardized reports for including in the self-study documentation, and other general purpose reports.
