Title: Lanthanide nanoparticle conjugates and uses thereof
Usefulness: Lanthanide nanoparticle conjugates and uses thereof
Summary: In pharmaceutical compositions and for targeting, treating and/or imaging a disease or disorder in a patient (claimed). The disease or disorder includes cancer. Also useful for a wide variety of different drug delivery applications, such as gene therapy, imaging applications, such as vascular imaging, and even in external molecular detection devices, such as microarrays and assays.
Novelty: New gadolinium nanoparticle conjugate for targeting, imaging or treating e.g. cancer, comprises a gadolinium nanoparticle grafted onto a polymer or polymer precursor having a functional group as point of attachment to the nanoparticle
