Intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1 or CD 54) is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed on endothelia cells and leukocytes. ICAM-1 is a ligand for LFA-1 and is also used by the Rhinovirus as a receptor. ICAM-1 is involved in stabilizing cell interactions and facilitating leukocyte endothelial transmigration. Monoclonal antibody CL203.4 recognizes ICAM-1.Validated Uses:* Western Blot* Immunoprecipitation* Immunohistochemistry-Formalin Fixed Tissue (does not inhibit cell-cell interaction or adhesion)References:Cancer Res. 1997 Apr 15;57(8):1554-60.Kidney Int. 1992 Apr;41(4):951-5.Biochim Biophys Acta. 1991 Sep 23;1097(2):95-102.Immunol Lett. 1991 Jun;28(3):237-43.Available for non exclusive license
