The design of new and innovative way of early molecular diagnosis for the detection of methylation pattern for PAX1 gene (promoter region) that responsible for Slicing of tumor suppressor gene (PAX1 gene) as a hallmarks of the tumor increasingly valuable for early detection of cervical cancer as a result of infection by papillomavirus (HPV), through the uses of modern techniques were used for the first time in Iraq, and in a manner designed (innovative)
1- MSP- Methyl specific PCR.
2- Bisulfate sequencing.
PAX1 methylation testing significantly improve the efficacy of cervical cancer screening. In addition to detection of PAX1 gene methylation (promoter region) which is responsible for silencing of tumor suppressor genes as hallmarks and potential diagnostic value for cervical cancer screening.
