- Energy absorption and impact protection materials are increasingly used in household, transportation, sports, consumer electronics, occupation and military defense to reduce personal injuries or damages to valuable goods. Common protection materials are usually either relatively rigid to sustain intense impact with a lack of flexibility, or soft but bulky. Some proprietary products are expensive which limit the distribution channel. By leveraging NAMI's experience in metal oxide and polymer composite material, a novel smart protection material (SPM) has been developed for impact protection and anti-stabbing. Adopting unique formulation and process, NAMI's SPM is slim, flexible and cost effective, and also complies with international impact protection standards.
