Detailed Technology Description
The composite is high in density [230 kg/m3] but stronger than traditional polymer foam materials [7 MPa]. It is 100% water proof, combine with its lower density compared to marine plywood; it is excellent for marine craft construction. It has a low thermal conductivity of [0.027 W/m-k] suitable for insulation purposes.It exhibits good machinability and workability, allowing fabrication time to be shortened. It can also be thermoformed to create curved shapes.The composite is eco-friendly and non-toxic. It can be recycled for use in other applications.
