Detailed Technology Description: This product is a simple, low cost dye that is added to the polymer layer with no special treatment (it is just an ingredient) and the capture of light in the window is just a natural property of the window. For addition to solar panels it is yet to be tested properly, but the benefit will be increased efficiency for when the sun is at a low angle of incidence.
