- Puchi Babie was designed in Nagoya, Japan in 1999 by Prime Nakamura, The idea of Puchi Babie is combined with many different elements: 1970s old-school fashion, post-modern art, and an adorably cute style. There are more than 200 styles that have been launched so far.
Puchi Babie has continually launched/released new design images with different themes and festivals, has become popular in Paris, Italy, New York, Korea, and Hong Kong as well. Apart from the original figure design, Puchi Babie has developed a series of two-dimensional images. There is a lot of licensed merchandise in Japan and Korea, such as stationery, household goods, apparel, and technology merchandise.
