- NAMI has developed a nano-encapsulated phase change material (Nano-PCM) for the application in thermal regulating textile. The textile products can provide a regulating function upon the change of environmental conditions, offer an effective buffer against ambient temperature fluctuations. Embedded nano-PCM interacts continuously with the microclimate of the surrounding, absorbing and releasing thermal energy to balance the temperature, eventually improves thermal comfort of human bodies. The developed thermal regulating textile have significant advantages over products with micro-PCMs on the current market including longer thermal regulation effect and service life, better touch feeling and higher mechanical performance.
