Essentially just by using our capacitive touch sensing LED technology, any LED, LED array, matrix, or display can be transformed into an intelligent touch sensing LED interface that will work without separately adding/overlaying an expensively manufactured transparent touch panel . As the capacitive touch sensing LED is touch/proximity sensitive without requiring physical/mechanical pressing, it is ideally responsive to user input, while much less prone to wear and tear than mechanical switches.We have developed and patented a new form of capacitive touch sensing input and control, a Capacitive touch sensing LED where the same single LED can be used to output light AND act as a touch input sensor simultaneously.
