Detailed Technology Description

An evaluation system of sleeping quality analysis is developed to assess and monitor sleeping comforts, bedding microclimate, skin touch and biomechanical function properties of the bedding system. It consists of a hardware and a software system. By integrating the software and hardware, together with a fabric touch database of the beddings, the system can adjust the microclimate of the bedding environment and biomechanical functions, personalising one's sleeping comfort. A mobile application is designed for easy adjustment and monitoring of sleeping comfort in real time.
The system can facilitate product design and development, manufacturing and marketing of bedding products, including products addressing special needs on sleeping. It can also assist in conducting sleeping comfort study.
