Summary: A universal driving technique for light emitting diodes (LEDs) is presented. The driver can operate with lighting fixtures for fluorescent lamps without requiring the replacement of any type of ballast circuitry or modifying the existing infrastructure of a lighting network. This technology provides all-encompass and immediate solution to turn a lighting system with fluorescent lamps into the one with LED lamps. Dimming operation in all conditions can be performed.

Technology Application: • Update an already installed old typed lighting system into LED lighting system by only changing the lamps
• Provide simple solution for applying LED lighting in some particular spot (e.g. household or office use)
