The DNA chip applies known nucleic acid sequence as a probe and hybridizes with complementary target nucleotide sequence and then carries out qualitative and quantitative analysis through subsequent signal detection. A large number of molecular recognition probes are integrated on the surface of a tiny substrate of DNA chip, which can carry out parallel analysis of a large number of genes at the same time. Moreover, combined with PCR technology and DNA chip, pathogens of respiratory tract infection can be identified quickly and accurately.
