Phthalocyanine/Polymer Nanocomposite Ink for Optoelectronics
Phthalocyanine/Polymer Nanocomposite Ink for Optoelectronics
Organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells have received a surge of interest as a low-cost, flexible, large-area, and renewable energy source. Regioregular polythiophene and fullerene blend is one of the most promising candidates for realizing practical high-efficiency polymer photovoltaic application. On the other hand, phthalocyanine is a robust material that can be obtained in large quantity and in high purity with low cost. Herein we fabricate bulk heterojunction (BHJ) photovoltaic modules based on polymer blend incorporated with phthalcyanine (Pc) nanocrystals through solution process.
Photovoltaic modules can be used as power generators for buildings as well as consumable electronic devices, such as mobile phones, mp3/mp4 player, and notebook computers, etc.
