Summary: The invention “Multiple Views Holographic Projection” (MVHP), is a display system which enables a static or animated 3D scene to be presented to viewers in the form of a 3D floating image. The invention is based on an optical wave reproduction unit which converts a 3D object scene into autostereoscopic or holographic data. The latter is projected to the viewers through a single or multiple display section(s) spatially juxtaposed to realize realistic reproduction of a 3D scene from one or more perspectives.

Technology Application: Applications of the invention are numerous, including 3D movie viewing, advertisement, video games, and scientific research. It can be realized with available electronic and computing resources, and only moderate changes in the existing video framework are required. As a result, the system is economical and can be easily utilized by movie producers, graphic designers, and content providers.
