Use-IT-Easy: A Low Cost High Performance Mobile RFID Platform

Summary: RFID has the potential to change the world. It has been identified by the Innovation and Technology Commission of Hong Kong as one of the key technologies that companies in Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta should leverage, so as to maintain Hong Kong’s leading position in logistics and supply chain.

Today, the total cost of ownership of any RFID solution is still relatively high. To make matters worse, leading companies in the RFID arena are even not adopting the technology as part of their operations in this part of the world. Thus the project “Use-IT-Easy: A Low Cost, High Performance RFID Platform” was initiated with the sponsorship from the Innovation and Technology Fund to create an affordable RFID platform for small-to-medium-sized business to promote the use of RFID.
