This invention provides an isolated nucleic acid which defines a human locus which corresponds to a yellow submarine locus. This invention provides an isolated nucleic acid which defines a human locus which corresponds to a mutant yellow submarine locus containing a pAA2 transgene integrated into at least one region the genome.
