Summary: The present invention employs a proprietary pharmaceutical technology to estimate the composition of human dosage for the treatment or prevention of angina using an extract of Rhizoma chuanxiong. These extracts exhibit synergistic effects in inducing vasodilatory effects, preventing platelet aggregation, and inducing anti-thrombotic effects. Such extracts can be developed as cardiovascular events, such infarction, cardiac ischemia, a treatment/prevention of various as unstable angina, myocardial heart failure, and stroke.
