Battery Management System for Electric Vehicles

1. Accurate SOC estimation to show the battery pack remaining charge
2. Battery cell-balancing, thermal management and preventing over-charge or over-discharge
3. Support CHAdeMO DC fast charging protocol
4. Interface with on-board charger and vehicle system control (VSC) in electric vehicles
5. Touch screen LCD to indicate overall battery pack or individual cell status like voltage, current, temperature
6. Two-stage warning mechanism in case battery pack is in over-temperature situation
7. When detected battery pack temperature exceeds 60 oC, for safety protection reason, BMS will automatically cut-off battery power and disable the vehicle driving power
8. Two-stage warning mechanism to remind drivers to recharge battery when necessary
9. BMS and battery pack has been physically installed on MyCar and verified with continuous road test for 3 months
