Detailed Technology Description
This invention is a method to acquire data while obtaining a magnetic resonance image, especially during contrast-enhanced MR scans. Data acquisition is coupled to the patient's heartbeat as in older methods, but in the Cornell method data is acquired continuously, as opposed to being acquired only during certain phases of the heartbeat. The result is higher resolution images taken in the same amount of time, compared to old methods.
