Robust cryptography platform for high security anti-counterfeiting in electronic devices
Personal electronic devices, which often hold sensitive personal information, are constantly at risk of hacking and security breaches. A main security entry point for hackers has been to counterfeit the microchips in these devices. This technology is a low-cost anti-counterfeiting device based on structural differences between microchips that produce unique and unpredictable responses when challenged with a stimulus. These unique microchip signatures make them highly secure, and these devices are more robust per square area than the state-of-the-art. With this technology, highly encrypted chip-identification is possible, allowing for greater security and quality assurance.
