Differentiation and integration of continuous-time input signals
Performing the mathematical operations of differentiation and integration on signals is crucial for many signal processing systems. For continuous input signals this is often achieved using resistors, capacitors, and operational amplifiers; however, these components result in bulky circuits with inefficient power usage. This technology performs differentiation and integration of continuous-time input signals by making use of delay blocks. It may be implemented with either analog or continuous-time digital circuits (see reference below), resulting in a versatile tool.
