The inventors have developed an IgG1 rat mAb against the mouse P84 (a.k.a. CD172a, SIRPa, BIT, SHPS-1) protein1. P84 is expressed in subset of neurons throughout the CNS2, retina3, macrophages, and bone marrow myeloid cells. P84 predominate ligand is CD47 or Integrin-Associated Protein (IAP). P84 and IAP represent a heterophilic binding pair that is likely to be involved in bi-directional signaling at the synapse and other tissues4.Validated Uses:* Western blot* Immunohistochemistry* Flow CytometryReferences1.
