Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing technology (RVS technology)

Summary

RVS technology is intended for mobile or stationary wireless communications where the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is used. The technology allows to increase the number of channels in a dedicated frequency band, to increase the interference immunity of signal and transmission bit-rate.

Technology Benefits

The main advantages of the RVS technology are in lowest level of out-of-band emission (-120dB) while increasing transmission bit-rate in identical dedicated frequency band (up to 50%). Generation rate exceeds counterparts by times due to using devices` memory and minimal amount of arithmetical operations. Generated signal is not subjected to smoothing and other changes so the maximum orthogonality and probability of correct decoding the transmitted information is kept.

Technology Application

RVS technology is intended for mobile or stationary wireless communications where the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is used. This technology is suitable fifth generation for networks (5G), WiFi, land mobile radio and etc., having advantages against leading-edge counterparts.

Detailed Technology Description

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing RVS technology is based on a body of mathematics for sub-band matrix with predetermined parameters of transmission system. There are basic functions formed from this matrix for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing by selection of characteristic vectors. The technology point is in substituting Fourier`s basis with RVS basis.

Others

This invention relates to the field of wired, satellite and terrestrial radio communication and can be used for digitally generating orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) channel signals. The result is a reduction in interchannel interference in radio communication systems, an increase in the transmission rate of useful data, and an increase in signal generation speed and the number of channels.
