Quantum key distribution over WDM Fiber Links and Quantum Cryptography with Wavelength Routing
Quantum key distribution over networks is a long-standing problem for practical applications. In this research, we solve this problem over current and next generation optical fiber communications networks---wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) fiber links with conventional optical communication channels. Another problem for quantum crptography over netowrks is switching. In order to solve this problem, wavelength routing is employed over optical networks, which makes quantum key distributuon can be implemented among specific end users with absolute security.
