F-Cyclo - Carbene-catalysed aryl hydrogenation to cyclohexanes with fluorine substituents
- Summary
- Efficient manufacturing process for fluorinated cyclohexane derivatives and related heterocycles developed. These are obtained by hydrogenation of fluorinated aromatics with the help of rhodium carbene catalysts. Thus, fluorinated all-cis cyclohexane derivatives are readily prepared by direct hydrogenation of the fluoroaromatics.
