- Title: A Program for Improving Sleep in Athletics and Occupational Settings Invention: This invention is a program purposed for improving individuals' sleep by providing a range of tools that can be applied to a variety of situational demands. Background: Sleep plays an important role in living a health life because quality sleep can improve your mental and physical health. However, many individuals suffer from insufficient sleep, circadian rhythm disruptions or sleep disorders. Causes can be attributed to work, school or external forces, which can create difficulty in achieving good rest. Current sleep improvement programs are specifically focused on both detection and treatment, or schedule change intervention. Thus, there remains a need for a program to improve sleep health that utilizes a combination of both programs.
