- *Abstract
-
The macroporous polymer monolith technology of another Cornell technology (Cornell docket number 1091) is used to fabricate molded monolithic separation columns with gradients of pore-size distribution or separation chemistry. The gradients in the column are oriented in the vertical direction and may be continuous or step-wise. Such column gradients provide a range of novel separation possibilities.
