The device occupies only 2 square millimeters but is capable of 0.1 nanometer channel spacing with 100 channels and crosstalk better than -10dB. Completely compatible with CMOS fabrication techniques, the spectrometer will be straightforward to produce and will find a home in a wide range of analysis applications.
