*Abstract: 'Jensen' is a soft winter white wheat from a cross between 'Susquehanna' and 'Harus'. Over a three year trial, grain yield is around 79 bu/acre, similar to 'Caledonia', 'Richland', and 'Superior'. It has a higher test weight of 56.4 lbs/bu compared to 53 lbs/bu for 'Caledonia' and 53.6lbs/bu for 'Richland'. Its winter survival and lodging resistance are similar. 'Jensen' is more resistant to Fusarium Head Blight than 'Richland' and 'Caledonia', is rated moderately resistant to Heat Spindle Streak Mosaic Virus, but isusceptible to Wheat Soil Borne Mosaic Virus. It has satisfactory milling and baking properties.
