*Abstract: Researchers from the University of Illinois have developed a new method of studying live cell dynamics and function - particularly molecular transport dynamics - over a broad range of spatial and temporal scales.
The method uses fluorescence rather than inserting probes. It can distinguish between diffusive motion and advection motion as well as diffusive transport and active or directed transport.
